"April 21st will be our first bouldering competition at Trailhead! Registration is now available at the gym, online registration will open April 7th. The competition will be a scramble format, with the top finishers of the open category competing in a finals round. Recreational and youth climbers will be ranked on their scramble scores."

The Westerner Park Christmas Artisan Market invites the public and families to come and shop for original crafts, festive & designer gifts, decorative art, jewelry, pottery, leather works, toys, household items, fashion and more.

Along with this there will be festivities such as Skate with Santa in the ENMAX Centrium for only $2 per person, a Kid Zone including a colouring contest for a chance to win tickets to PJ Masks Live, a wrapping paper station for all your wrapping needs, and Jm Photography will be set up to take family Christmas photos for $10! 

 Tickets are available at the door and in the spirit of giving, guests that come to the show will be asked to bring a donation for the Food Bank.  Event is produced by Westerner Park.

The 10st Wave in Downtown Calgary is the perfect location to get a taste for river surfing. This is your opportunity to come out as a beginner and see what it’s all about!

Outlier River Surf will be hosting River Surf Instruction from 5 – 9pm which will include your surfboard, wetsuit, and all the equipment needed. Make sure you register online to secure your spot! Sessions will be 45 minutes long with a discounted price of $15. There will be an information booth and crew of long time river surfers to answer all your questions. We will be popping up at the Troubled Monk Run on June 17th. You can grab cups to go, bottle fills, or just come hang out to chat over a pint (KomBEERcha, anyone?). 

From www.troubledmonk.com: "The Troubled Monk Brewery is holding our second annual 5 km/10km and now 21.1km run and beer gardens on Saturday June 17th; race starts at 10am. All proceeds will go to a variety of charities and groups that support the Red Deer community throughout the year. For participating you’ll get an awesome beer glass, custom wood coaster, and even better, a token for a Troubled Monk pint or, for those under 18, a craft soda. The run will also feature a great beer gardens with some great local food. All of this for a $50 entrance fee!"
